Passed away surrounded by family at Calvary Hospital on Thursday, 24 September 2026. Aged 81 years. Dearly loved husband of Diana (dec.). Loved son of Lilias and William (both dec.), and brother of Bill (dec.), Wallace (dec.) and John. Much-loved father of Andrew, Donal and Elisabeth. Loved stepfather of Mark, Melanie, Sara and Sophie. Adored Poppy to Shannon, Rhyan and Amelia; Amber, Jade and Angus; Callum, Jake and Bree; Dean, Aaron, Noah and Isobel; and Eddie and Morgan.
Life Member and longest-serving member of the Lake Albert Rural Fire Brigade.

A Service to Celebrate Jim’s life will be held at The Range Function Centre, East Wagga Wagga on Wednesday, 7th October 2026. Following the service commencing at 12.00pm, the funeral will leave for the Wagga Wagga Lawn Cemetery, Brunskill Rd, Lake Albert. Relatives and friends are warmly invited to attend.
